Control Your Money
with simple changes
This workshop is ideal for young adults or people who want to manage their money while still enjoying it. Perhaps those controlling their finances for the first time or simply wanting to refresh their budgeting skills.
An aspect of wellbeing that is often overlooked is good money management. Getting into debt can have a huge impact on health and wellbeing. Stress of debt and the stigma associated with it means a higher likelihood of health problems and absence from work.
Household debt is at an all time high in the U.K. The average owed by each household is over £15,000.
There is a lot of advice on how to help employees who are struggling with debt. I believe it is a lot more effective to provide the tools needed for managing money—before debt becomes a problem.
Everyone needs to know how to manage their money. Many people know very little about how to do it well. Young people, especially, worry about their finances. Often they’re also unsure about tax and national insurance.
In this workshop you’ll:
- Examine how you feel about money
- Look at ways to monitor your spending
- Compare the best bank accounts
- Learn how to use credit safely
- Check your deductions
- Discuss how to save
Duration: 2 hours.
Maximum number of delegates: 20
